My quest for the new Blackberry Bold 9900 started yesterday. I went to Alghanim Electronics in Hawally (where I was told two days ago via Alghanim’s own over-the-phone customer service it was available). Unfortunately, it wasn’t. I asked the guy that worked there when they’re expecting to have it back in stock and he said he didn’t know (possibly next week – an unconvincing reply, really). I then decided to head to one of Zain’s branches since I recalled the offer they had (see above). I went to the branch in Mishref’s Co-op. I was greeted by a guy who soon informed me that they didn’t have the offer now, and that they might have the phone next week. To be frank, it wasn’t quite clear to me if the offer didn’t start yet or if the phone was out of stock. My question is, if it’s unavailable at Zain, then why advertise it with “Why Wait?” Ironic isn’t it?
